This Privacy Policy describes how user information is handled in the smartphone application “Muscle Step” (the “App”).
The App may collect and use the following information to provide services and improve quality.
Account Linking Information
When users sign in or back up data with external accounts such as Google or Apple, we collect a dedicated ID to identify the user.
(*Please note that the App does not directly collect or store passwords for your external accounts.)
In-App Input Data
Various data entered and recorded by users in the App, such as workout details.
Device and Usage Information
To improve app quality and fix issues, we may collect anonymized access logs, crash reports (error details when forced termination occurs), OS version information, and related device information.
Collected information is handled appropriately and used only for the following purposes:
When using the App’s “AI Trainer” feature, user questions and related workout data may be transmitted via secure communication to affiliated external AI analysis systems in order to generate more accurate advice.
Transmitted data may be used by the AI provider for response generation and improving AI model quality (including training). Therefore, please do not enter sensitive information such as your name, address, phone number, or passwords in the feature’s chat screen.
The App uses tools provided by third parties (such as Google Analytics for Firebase and AdMob) to understand usage trends and deliver appropriate advertisements. Data collected by these tools is anonymized and does not directly identify individuals. Please refer to each provider’s privacy policy for details on data handling.
Except where required by law, the App does not provide personal information to third parties without prior user consent. (This excludes API communication for the AI features and transmission of anonymized data to information collection modules described above.)
Users can delete their account (withdrawal) at any time from the App’s settings screen. After completion of account deletion, related information such as workout data stored on our servers is promptly deleted in accordance with our operational policies.
This policy may be revised as needed due to legal changes or feature additions. In the event of significant changes, we will provide notice in the App.
